The clues and riddles kept us searching and guessing, and there were a few times where we were stumped for several minutes. I recommend smaller teams rather than one large team so everyone can be involved in looking at the clues. We were a group of eight, three adults and five children (youngest was 9), so we split into two teams to hunt for the Cheshire Cat. There are quite a few hidden gems along the way. I would definitely recommend Moriarty's Game to anybody who wants to enjoy a few hours of gentle sleuthing with details that are in plain view in and around town - but only if you know which way to turn! Some will surprise you and others will make you annoyed at yourself to have passed them countless times previously without noticing. I found India (at Hidden City) incredibly helpful with guidance and information before we played. There are a nice range of clues with plenty that younger players could easily solve too so would feel that they have contributed to working out the answers. The game is set up in a way that allows you to go at an easy pace without feeling under any time pressure. We all found it great fun and there are plenty of nice places to stop and take a break along the route. Some of the places you find are simply not the sort of details you would ever notice without the guidance of the Hidden City team. It takes you on a fascinating journey through areas that you may think you know very well but you discover a great number of genuinely interesting details that have previously passed you by without realizing.
